I'm just moving thing to a new thread instead of the "[Ltsp-discuss] local dev, no devs for 2nd + users" thread

System is still a RedHat Enterprise AS 4 testserver.

Custom kernel 2.6.16

Terminal has an Intel Desktop Board D845GL VA Motherboard.

The latest thing I've tested is

(1) new clean installation of LTSP 4.2, placed in /opt/ltsp-4.2-test
No change, first user after a terminal reboot can use CDROM, floppy
and USB, others looses more and more access to devices. CDROM is
    normally lost first

BTW: when reinstalling, should it install/update anything in
    /tftpboot?

(2) Recompiling fuse, using version 2.5.3 and forced a recompilation of
    the fuse module.
No change here either. First user ok, later CDROM is not active, it
does not spin up when a CDROM is inserted, and USB is not detected by
ltspfs. udev on the terminal finds it.
