Thank you very much. I would greatly appreciate it if you would check these links out to see if they work for you.
On the FoxNews site, you have to click the Video link at the top right hand corner of their menu bar. I'm sorry, buy there is not a direct link to it. http://www.foxnews.com/ Mine looks like it will work, but when I click on a video, it seems like it either plays it all in a fraction of a second, or simply crashes. On my 32 bit machine, it plays audio, but no video. Here is the CNN.com video site. Mine shows the video player, but crashes FireFox -- completely killing it. http://www.cnn.com/video/ BBC News -- I can't get it to work with selecting either RealPlayer or Windows Media Player. http://www.bbc.co.uk/ Again, I would really appreciate it if you would check these out and let me know what you find. I have flash playing on the server now, but these sites still do not work. ============ As for Africa -- I've been reading up on it lately. Very interesting. It's terrible what the Belgians did to the people in the Congo; but then again, it was not particularly civilized/peaceful before they arrived, nor has it been since they were thrown out. (I don't necessarily rate civilization based on Western standards.) Still, being a couple of white men there -- I think we will stand out. And I think if some don't like us real well because of the past, it might be somewhat understandable. We have much to overcome from the past. This whole trip could be interesting, especially with the political unrest in the country now from the elections. The leading cause of death there is not from disease, as one might expect; but from violent death -- either murder or automobile accidents. And it sounds like it is a real easy place to get killed. Our government strongly discourages people from traveling there. Some of our people are being persecuted for our Faith right now. Some were supposed to supposed to report to the local authorities today because another "Christian" church brought charges against them of some sort. We don't know what happened to them yet. One of our people there just disappeared last month. Disease has also taken quite a few in the three or four years we've been in contact with people there. So it could be a very challenging adventure. I'm trying to learn at least a little French, and trying to get into at least halfway decent physical condition. Who knows what we will encounter? It could be very peaceable, or it may not be. In any case, I am sure it will be a lot of work. In any case, I am sure that our Lord Jesus Christ will take care of us. fp ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
