There is no reason that midi will not work. MIDI is sufficiently different to what I've done with my thin client lan-tty daemon that I could do that without treading on business toes. I'll try to make something over the next few days. If it works, its yours, if it does not it's still yours :-) I've used rosegarden only with a midi-out device. Could you setup to use a fifo? Then rosegarden [server machine] talks to fifo1 ...... client1 midi port rosegarden [server machine] talks to fifo2 ...... client2 midi port rosegarden [server machine] talks to fifo3 ...... client3 midi port etc James ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
