It's not a problem.  It's a difference between the way that most normal
installations are, and the way YOU are setting up your system.

Correct.  We are mounting things under the $HOME directory.  Therefore,
we should be searching for the $HOME directory when we clean things up.

You're doing something different, therefore, you'll need to modify the
default things a bit.

Mounting in home is, we've subsequently discovered, frowned upon in the
LSB, so in the future, we'll be mounting under /media the same as a
local machine would.

As we're hoping to release a new muekow based version of LTSP as a
technology prieview, or beta, or whatever you'd like to call it, we're
spending just about all of our resources dealing with that.  And, in the
future, we'll be mounting under /media anyway, as per the LSB.  Since
this affects only a small (one so far) number of people, I'd prefer to
leave it the way it is, seeing as how things will be changing fairly
substantially in the future.
