The Dell Optiplex GX110 does support booting via PXES with the latest BIOS
(I think it is A09).
Once more: No problem with this client, cheap, silent, fast enough.
Many greetings,

Frank

Betreff: Re: [Ltsp-discuss] Dell Optiplex GX110 issues

Several years ago I had 10 GX110s as LTSP (v3) terminals. The onboard NICs
were flakey, and getting the right etherboot driver took some trial and
error
but they finally did work. Today I would try booting from the universal LTSP

CD-ROM boot disk.

The video *did* require AGPGART support. If memory serves it is an Intel 810

chipset. Back then I did need to load agpgart, but that may be superceded by

the i810fb (frame buffer?) module; check the docs.

Wrestling with old hardware is *so* much fun :-}
