Meanwhile I checked the kernel configuration (/proc/config.gz), and I found 
that the agp support is compiled into the kernel (CONFIG_AGP=y), that's why I 
didn't find the agpgart module.

But if thats the case, then why does X complaining about the missing agp 
support?
