Hi,

- unless the "D" at the end means something sinister, I'd say the RTL8139 card 
is pretty standard, I've used it all the time.

- I think you should be in the clear etherbooting it using a floppy from 
rom-o-matic. 

- btw: it also boots fine using a utility that (of all) Microsoft once made, a 
diskette image that causes it and many other standard cards to act as a PXE 
card.

- perhaps someone on the list remembers where to find the MS floppy image?
