Hi,
up to now i used the binary nvidia drivers for my ltsp-4.2 setup as
described in the wiki. But this gives me killed xservers on a regular
basis.
So I tried the XOrg module nv. With that, the xserver seems to be much
more stable. Though I do not need 3d accel. I would like to swith to this
solution, but a new problem occured: ;)
I would like to use a screen resolution of 1600x1200 (DVI), but whatever I
put in my lts.conf, all i get is 1024x768. Here is the config for my
client:
37 [tc-steph]
38 X_MODE_0 = 1600x1280
39 X_MODE_1 = 1280x1024
40 X_MODE_2 = 1024x768
41 # XSERVER = nvidia
42 XSERVER = nv
43 # X4_MODULE_01 = glx
44 screen_01 = startx
45 screen_02 = shell
46 LOCAL_STORAGE = Y
I switched to the shell and took a look at the /tmp/XFConfig.1 but that
looks okay to me. Any hints, what to do to increase the screen resolution?
Cheers,
- Thorsten
