I'm currently using an etherboot hard drive installation on standard PCs for our LTSP clients. I'd like to investigate moving to dedicated thin clients to save money and power, however I need to run dhcp on an alternate port to work around campus-wide dhcp servers that I don't control. As far as I understand, this means PXE booting is not an option.
