As I can see, it seems easy to use, that's a good point.
ltsp-loadbalancer does takes into account many variables into the algorithm, like the free memory, number of sessions compared to the processor speed, and the loadaverage. This is the default, but you can add your own variables by editing a simple XML file, and adjust rules for your needs.
