DRBD works nice and can be integrated with Heartbeat to have a great 
NAS/SAN redundant storage backend. We have a few DRBD mirrors around and 
never had issues with them. However, you have to take into account that 
you are trying to set up some kind of disaster recovery plan, which 
implies regular failover check and all kind of QA paperworks. It can be 
quite time consuming in the end ! (note : for the technical part, it is 
less hard to set up than it might look at first sight. )
