Ok, try to put something like this in your /etc/X11//xdm/Xsession :
if test $(ps -u $USER | grep -c kwin ) -eq 1; then
kdialog --sorry "Sorry, only one login per user!"
exit
fi
You have to install kdialog to let it show nicely in kde.
I admit that I don't know if this works with ldm, too.
A similar solution with gnome and gdm should be easy.
