Thank you all!! This is going to be awesome for all sorts of LTSP users,
if it is in fact *the* bug we've all had been dealing with.

Just out of curiosity, what can we do to persuade devels to backport to
Gutsy? My particular stance is that, at least from Feisty to Gutsy, I
upgraded our labs as soon as it came out because of existing bugs I
needed to have fixed in Feisty - but obviously there were new bugs that
cropped up. I hate to be so much on the 'bleeding edge', but staying
with Dapper is very difficult given the amount of progress we've seen in
LTSP alone.
