Thanks for the reply. One of them have S3 Trio 3D/2X card. I have followed the suggestions on ltsp's site for that card with no success. The other is again an S3. Here is its identification 0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: VIA Technologies, Inc.: Unknown device 3344 (rev 01) [EMAIL PROTECTED] lspci -n -s 01:00.0 0000:01:00.0 0300: 1106:3344 (rev 01) So I think it is VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP .It is an onboard card.
Here are the configuration directives I tried in lts.conf file for S3 Trio 3D/2x [00:08:54:3A:F7:8B] XSERVER =XF86_S3V X_VIDEORAM = 8192 X_COLOR_DEPTH = 8 X_MODE_0 = 800x600 40 800 840 968 1056 600 601 605 628 +hsync +vsync X_MODE_1 = 1280x1024 135.00 1280 1296 1440 1688 1024 1025 1028 1066 +hsync$ I have built ltsp on Gutsy.
