Hi,
Heres my problem: I need to install openMosix on my LTSP server, but all the
information on this is about LTSP3. So I have set up an LTSP3 server and
compiled all the openMosix stuff and it all works fine, except for X on the
client - I always get a white screen with black lines across on my radeon
and the vesa driver messes up. I have also tried the XF_86 drivers too, to
no avail.
So heres my question: before I set up an LTSP 4 server (which I know works
becuase I did it befo using these clients), can I use the kernel and
initrd.gz from LTSP3 and just copy them into /tftpboot/lts/2.4.22-openmosix
and will they work in LTSP4 even though I made them using the initrd_tools
for LTSP3 (I tried using the initrd_tools for LTSP4 but the 2.4 kernel
wouldn't load it).
thanks in advance
Josh Higgins
