Hi,
... me again.
OK, I finally realized that ltsp-build-client fetches a stock kernel
and then obviously combines it with an ltsp-initrd with the relevant
modules.

I actually just found out, that when i build a client environment in
debian lenny, the resulting
2.6.22-3-486 does not work, because some scripts are missing or
corrupt in /scripts
(e.g. nfs-top and nfs-premount dirs are missing).
Just tried to copy the 2.6.18 initrd scripts - but then at some point
boot hangs with kernel panic.
Is there an easy way to build a ltsp5 initrd "by hand"?
Since I cannot build the kernel / initrd the "normal" way for NetVista
N2200 I do need some guidance as how to get to a working initrd.
Kernel 2.6.24 is preferred, as it has support for the CS5530 Audio.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Stefan.
