Hi, We have been running Edubuntu on our server, with multiple thin client terminals for several weeks with minimal problems.
Suddenly, after downloading and installing recommended updates to the system, no users can login from the termimals. The etherboot seems fine since the terminals boot up and the login page is seen on the terminal. However, upon entry on username and password, the system hangs up for several minutes, then it says the kernel failed to load and the terminal reboots and the login page reappears. I checked the fuse group and everyone is still a member. I'm not sure what to do next. I am a bit of a linux command-line newbie, so please make your recommendations with explanations geared toward a basic level.
