Hi

I need some guidance on getting a Visara thin client to boot on OpenSUSE
11.0 with Kiwi LTSP. I have several Visara e300 eTerms with this hardware:

SIS550 200mhz processor
32 meg DOC with Bios and WinCE 4.2 image on it.
64 meg ram PC-133
Selectable Shared ram for Video up to 64 meg

These clients PXE boot fine from an EdUbuntu 8.04 server (although I
never could get the on-board sound chip to be recognized, had to use a
USB plug-in sound device that does get loaded and recognized). Anyway,
attached to my OpenSUSE server, the client just stalls part way into the
hardware detection. I'll try to list some of the screen that scrolls
by as the client boots-- I get a boot/linux and boot/intrid,
decompressing linux, unpacking intramfs, then lines of scanning hardware
down to the last two lines showing an input keyboard and an input
wheelmouse... then the system stalls. I tried attaching a different
type client to the OpenSUSE server and it boots with no problem, but I
can't get the Visara e300 to boot from OpenSuse.

What should I check? Should I copy some type of image or files from my
EdUbuntu system that does boot to my OpenSUSE system to make these
clients boot froom SUSE? By the way, I am testing OpenSUSE because our
school system uses Novell for network management and hope to find easier
acceptance of a Novell product plus hopefully install the Novell for
linux client on the SUSE system.

Any suggestions?
