openSUSE 11 needs more than Ubuntu 8.04, that's my humble opinion. I got HP t5125 - it does not work with openSUSE 11. But I got it worked with Ubuntu 8.04, see this bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ltsp/+bug/208137 As it says on web page: "Thin client can be any PC which is PXE boot capable, 128 MB RAM is desired, but you can test lower and see if it works for you." http://en.opensuse.org/LTSP I have tested openSUSE with P4/256 with good Intel graphic chip on motherboard, openSUSE is good with that. I think that you need something like that for openSUSE. Or stick with Ubuntu 8.04, it is same LTSP 5 and Linux anyway. My opinions are now that they are both equally easy to install and also use for LTSP purposes. And that is very good news to me. We still wait Fedora to jump on that same level - or is it here already?
