Bonjour,

I have an ltsp server running fedora 8 and ltsp 4.2. This server has an
nvidia video card.

I have a neoware thin client with a via integrated video card.

1) If I put in lts.conf

XSERVER            = via

graphic display is not working. I have a display with:

XSERVER            = vesa

Why?

2)

If I run glxinfo on the thin client I get these info:

direct rendering: No (If you want to find out why, try setting
LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose)
server glx vendor string: SGI
server glx version string: 1.2

<snip>

client glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation

I am wondering if there are some interaction between the video card on
the server and the video card on the client?

3) Is there a way to know if "direct rendering" can be activated on the
thin client and how to activate it? I try to set LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose,
but glxinfo does not give more info.

4) Is there somewhere a file Xorg.0.log for the thin client?

Thanks for answering.
