Ah, that makes more sense.

If it helps, I know there is a big issue with multiple thin-clients and 
Firefox 3.x series. Please see 
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nspr/+bug/269188 and let us 
know if this seems to be the issue.
