The above was my solution to the problem. I missed this info in previous
searches.
I'm up and running fine.
The login problem ....
When you are not in the know you make assumptions.
With the graphics not coming up I get the prompt
LTSP login
There are no users and passwords setup on an ltsp client, it's not a server
login prompt.
Thanks for the response guys.
I am now going to install 8.10 and slap in the 7.10 ltsp directory and see
what happens..
