Hi,

Looks like you're describing what I filed on LP as bug
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xulrunner-1.9/+bug/305531

Quite a few LTSP users also noticed it and it's really boring and
affecting all xul-based applications. Unfortunately I don't really know
XUL well enough to debug it other than poking people on IRC :)
