Thank You for your answers (all :-), but I don't really understand...
I've allready got a kiwi-ltsp server with SusE11, so from the wiki I read:
"Step 2: Preparation for image building
* Mount openSUSE 11.0 i586 DVD5 iso (not the live) at /mnt/11.0
* Change the configuration(IP address, network, DHCP range)
according to your setup in /etc/sysconfig/kiwi-ltsp using your preferred
editor or YaST2 sysconfig editor. "
Mount: that is I mount the SuSE11.0 DVD (not the live one, ok) on the
ltsp-kiwi-server, I'd do that as root with somthing like "mount -t
iso9660 /dev/dvd /mnt/11.0"
Now I may browse and see what's on the SuSE11 DVD.
Change the configuration (IP, network, dhcp range), eh where?
That would be on the SuSE11.0 kiwi-ltsp server, right? Why would I do
that, I works fine as it is ?
I would then build an image using " kiwi-ltsp-setup -cd" and so, this
will produce an iso image that I may hence burn to a CD.
This CD would be bootable, but into what? Would it just not boot into a
full featured (live-CD version) of a kiwi-lstp server? I need a CD that
may be used to boot a client against a kiwi-ltsp-server. The simple
reason being that I can't get the (bloody) PC's to network(PXE)boot...
I'm sorry for not understanding the wiki, I can hear you shaking your
head thinking...oh boy, sigh, sigh... :-)
Anyhow, thanks a lot for your answers!
PS: I could send a picture or post it on the web showing a bunch of kids
enjoying SuSE11 on old machines running as kiwi-ltsp client :-)
