It is the IP address of the server and it is not possible to evaluate the user, if more than one user is logged in. > Since I have an ltsp setup (users being able to log in to different > machines), how can I configure dansguardian or squid to tell me the user > name in addition to or instead of the ip address? I never used this before, but you can configure squid (squid.conf) that users need to authenticate before using squid. Authentification can be managed by identd or by manual login. -- Kai Wollweber Peter-Ustinov-Schule Integrierte Gesamtschule der Stadt Eckernförde Sauerstr. 16 24340 Eckernförde http://www.igs-eckernfoerde.de [email protected] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
