AFAIK, you need to set both X_HORZSYNC and X_VERTREFRESH in lts.conf.
Setting only one of them doesn't work.
For details, see the function set_sync_ranges()
in /opt/ltsp/i386/usr/share/ltsp/configure-x.sh
