I am working on my fedora testbed server now and installed a skype rpm that I
found at their site, but once it was installed, it
wanted me to setup a skype account. I can not do this for 100+ client
workstations on my network when all I want to do is
inter-network communication.

My project is for a school environment where the client workstations will be
populated with students. So I just want to be able to
establish audio communication via local ip addresses. If I could just get the
skype softphone and it connected via ip, then that
would probably work okay. Do you have any idea where I can get just the
softphone?
