Ok, so what is the 'verdict'? Should I install a full cups daemon in the
chroot and put in cupsd.conf "Browsing On" ? Then only for the clients
that run local apps "RC_FILE_03 = /etc/init.d/cupsys start" or something?

That way jobs are still spooled on the thin client (before they get sent
to the server) which isn't what you'd want.
