Hi list, If the client shuts down (e.g. via ltsp-localapps "sudo shutdown -P now" ) the swapfile doesn't get deleted. A check with tcpdchk -v gets
Using network configuration file: /etc/inetd.conf >>> Rule /etc/hosts.allow line 13: daemons: nbdrootd clients: ALL access: granted >>> Rule /etc/hosts.allow line 14: daemons: nbdswapd clients: ALL access: granted No keepalive. Is this ok? On every client reboot a new swapfile is beeing created, filling up my disc space until the server hangs. If the client is beeing shut down all he processes of the user are also still running, not only some of them. I can see that in in swapd file the last line should delete the swap file, so I think these two problems are somewhat related to eachother. So: What's going on here? How do I power off the client the right way or how do I correct this? Puzzling to me: ltsp-localapps "sudo shutdown now" does kill the processes but leaves the client on. Mmmmh. I'm on ubuntu jaunty with autologin. Thank you for your answers, Frank ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us!
