Hi all, I'm hoping to get anyone interested in getting some momentum behind the Open Office Presentation Slideshow / LTSP bug to visit and comment on the bug reports (below). There seems to be no movement by the OOo team and I think we might just need to get more voices/votes in for them to take it more seriously.
If you can, test it out on your LTSP clients (especially if they have =< 128MB) and you'll most likely see them crash after changing slides 5-7 times. It shouldn't matter what kind of graphics/text you have, because the issue stems from the entire screen being cached into local X pixmap memory on the thin client...twice, simply for performance reasons on standalone workstations. ----- OpenOffice.org Bugtracker report: http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=97906 --- Ubuntu/Launchpad But report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/315300 ----- Thanks for any help!
