I am not sure whether running a screensaver on an ltsp-server is a good 
idea... (you show nice pictures on the clients but wasting the cpu of the 
server and maybe the bandwidth of the network) ...only if it is running as
local-apps(?)

So I would be not much surprised if you were on your own with this 
problem...

(On the other hand: in a classroom, if the clients are getting idle while 
the students are listening to the teacher, then it is not advisable to 
distract their attention with a "show". So it is better to blank the 
screens... Apart from all that there can be situations when such "show" 
can be interesting, but maybe less typical... hmm?)
