did you test sound and USB? Because using an ubuntu client I didn't seem to have problems with sound. And hand editing a python script made USB sticks work respectably Though I cannot get the keyboard working the way I want it, so for now my LTSP 5 project with RHEL 5 and Ubuntu clients is stranded.
