Hi - first post here.
I checked the archives but can't figure this one out - seems like it
should be simple.
I'm trying to install LTSP 5 using the Ubuntu Alternate CD. I use the
"install an LTSP server" mode and get it all set up nicely - dhcp, thin
clients boot, everything is good.
However, I'd like to use the kiosk plugin. I can successfully build
using "ltsp-build-client --kiosk" only if I blow away the chroot at
/opt/ltsp/i386. BECAUSE I installed using the Ubuntu Alternate CD, it
setup the chroot environment for me, without the kiosk plugin. I can't
build with the kiosk plugin because it complains about /opt/ltsp/i386
being already in existence.
How can I ADD the kiosk plugin to my already built ltsp image tree in
/opt/ltsp/i386 since "ltsp-build-client --kiosk" seems to only work from
scratch and not with the Ubuntu Alternate CD's already configured image
tree?
Otherwise I don't see the point of using the Alternate CD from Ubuntu.
I'll just use a standard Ubuntu install and then add the LTSP packages
myself.
Thanks!
Mike
