Well, I blew away the /opt/ltsp directory and reinstalled the image using ltsp-build-client --kiosk and it worked, except it got a brief error that I'll try to post. But either way it works just fine. Still wondering if I should just use the regular Ubuntu distro and not the Alternate CD with the LTSP Server mode option.
