Some people have been experiencing thin client crashes on some web pages. I traced one such crash to a problem in Firefox, where it makes Xorg use too much RAM while loading images.
E.g. for a 10 megapixel photo, Firefox will make Xorg temporarily use an additional 80MB RAM, crashing any thin clients that do not have that much free RAM. Chromium-browser doesn't have that issue. I filed a bug report upstream and I'm just notifying the list in case anyone is interested about its progress: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=575523 Cheers, Alkis ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Sprint What will you do first with EVO, the first 4G phone?
