ltsp-update-kernels

Ivan,
I believe that ALL_PORTS_FOUND is a list of ports found in the chroots that
looks something like:
-2000- -2001- -2002- ...
Therefore, an empty port value would be "--". Why that notation? Most likely
to make it easy to run a case again port 200 and port 2000 and not make a
mistake.
The idea behind ltsp-update-image is that it will figure out what ports to
assign to the chroots and make sure that no two chroots are using the same
port and also that no chroot is set to use a port that is already in use on
the server.
Once a port is assigned, it is saved inside
<chroot>/etc/ltsp/update-kernels.conf for future reference, so that when
ltsp-update-image is figuring out ports it will keep the same ports for the
same chroots unless it finds a conflict.
If no port has been recorded yet (say, the first time), you should get a
message like "Assigning port 2000...."
