K12Linux uses the lts.conf in /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/
One easy and benign way to confirm is to put something like:
[XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX]
LDM_AUTOLOGIN = True
LDM_USERNAME = username
LDM_PASSWORD = password
with a valid MAC address, username and password of course into the
lts.conf file. If the client logs in on boot you know it found the
right file.
