I added some MAC entries to my lts.conf yesterday and rearranged the
ordering of sections slightly. Today I noticed that my clients weren't
setting their hostname according to the HOSTNAME variable, which is
something that was working until yesterday. So I did some
investigating:

~# cat /var/log/boot.log
Hangup
Negotiation: ..size = 531264KB
bs=1024, sz=531264
syntax error in /etc/lts.conf, line=30
syntax error in /etc/lts.conf, line=30
 * Setting up LTSP client...
        [ OK ]
acpid: starting up with proc fs
syntax error in /etc/lts.conf, line=30
acpid: 1 rule loaded
acpid: waiting for events: event logging is off
 * Starting LTSP client......
        [ OK ]

which tells me there is an error in lts.conf on line 30.

~# head -n 30 /etc/lts.conf
###################################################
# this section applies to all clients. #

# currently broken.                               #

but I don't see a problem with the last line there. In fact, that line
was there prior to yesterday, although in a different position. Can
somebody tell me what's going on here, or where I can look for more
clues?
