I read your answer in the other tread
yes.. basically, what I insert in the server I do not see in the desktop
client.
But indeed
could also be interesting to mount
one thing on the server that can be accessed at all.
anyway .. an oddity
I inserted a DVD in the ltsp server.
ltsp server has an automatic login for a user xbmc (a media center).
nothing happens on the server (I have the autostart of the DVD in off mode, so
all ok for now)
client on ltsp (no fat clients) are logged, instead, as lux.
Lux is a administrator (not xbmc)
ok.
on lux on the client I have the msg "can not mount .. not allowed)
( idem if i mount a usb key on the server )
I see nothing on the desktop, no icons and nothing in nautilus.
BUT if I start vlc, here is reading the DVD.
Idem if you rip with ogmrip .. all ok
Totem gstreamer, instead ,does not work, because 'not authorized.
(With vlc lux is authorized .. with totem gstreamer , no .. why ? : -?)
lux is in fuse group .... cdrom group ecc ecc...
fuse.conf is "user_allow_other"
bye
