Hello list,
i have 2 servers. Server A is installed with Xubuntu and the ltsp
standalone package. Server B is a Suse Enterprise with LDAP, SAMBA and DHCP.
What is need is a config to run my own DHCP from the Suse Enterprise and to
be able to let everything run over one nic on Server A.
What i tried so far is to stop the dhcp from the Ubuntu LTSP package. Nic
on Server A is configured for DHCP.
On Server B i configured DHCP for the nic from Server A to get a fix ip and
for every client i set via "next-server" Server B as the next primary
server.
But no client can boot from TFTP. I always get a tftp timeout.
What does work is the basic config i found in the Ubuntu howtos. With two
nics and so on.
Can someone help me how i can run this with one nic and my own dhcp?
best regards from germany
