I can second this.  We can't get USB storage devices to mount.
Headphones and microphones seem to work fine.  We really need USB to
work.

The last time I wrote about this, the problem, as I was told, was that
my clients were 64-bit.  The server is also 64-bit.  I was told to
boot clients 32-bit.  I recall trying, but it didn't work well for us
(graphics issues).

We've scanned forums and tried lots of things.  Is it still the 32-bit
thing?  So many computers are now 64-bit.  If that is the issue, is
there anything we can do to help get the 64-bit clients to work as
well?

PS: the client does see the USB storage drive when checking the local dmesg.
