hello oliver, thanks, I will check it. with dmesg: root@ltsp200:~# dmesg |grep lp [ 11.131623] usblp0: USB Bidirectional printer dev 3 if 1 alt 0 proto 2 vid 0x04E8 pid 0x3441 [ 11.134419] usbcore: registered new interface driver usblp
And, there isn't any /dev/usb/lp.. device available. I can see only the one /dev/usblp0 device. Is there anybody who has a printer-configuration on ltsp ubuntu-12.04 with socket://thinclient:9100, which works? bye, rainer Am 10.09.2013 15:33, schrieb Oliver Grawert: > hi, > On Tue, 10 Sep 2013 11:43:15 +0200 > Rainer Gümpelein <r...@gnu-systems.de> wrote: > >>>> The printer-device in lts.conf is enabled: >>>> PRINTER_0_DEVICE="/dev/usblp0" >>>> And this device is available. > ... >>> LTSP clients use the 'jetpipe' command to share printers, make sure >>> it's running on the thin client >>> ltsp-localapps xterm >>> jetpipe /dev/usb/lp0 9100 > > did you try using the additional / in the PRINTER_0_DEVICE entry ? > > ciao > oli > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > How ServiceNow helps IT people transform IT departments: > 1.
