What exactly do you want to do?

https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:KIWI-LTSP_tips_and_tricks#Changing_LDM_theme
shows how you can replace default LDM background.

There is no template directory for LDM, you can replace any file
inside the chroot image as per the link above. The same link also
provides two ways(ssh and debug terminal) to log in to the client and
see what is inside that image.

If you want to customize the client image then you can start by
following these links:

https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:KIWI-LTSP_building_custom_image
https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:KIWI-LTSP
https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:KIWI
and /usr/share/doc/packages/kiwi/kiwi.pdf from kiwi-doc package.

LTSP packages can be found here:
https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/server:ltsp you can branch and
customize them as per your need, checkout
https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Build_Service and follow the links
there in case you are not familiar with packaging.
