Hello,

I hope you are doing well.

Often I have had students and teachers download email attachments that
were viruses into their accounts. While it is true that they won`t
run in Linux, they sometimes use their USB sticks to then transfer
files to and from home. So to keep everything clean, I run ClamAV (
http://www.clamav.net ) on /home and it usually finds things every now
and then.

Hope that helps!
Joseph
