Hi

I've been toying with LTSP cluster and after many problems I have a server (VM
with Ubuntu 12.04) for building client images, it handles booting and acts as
the control center and the loadbalancer. Plus I have a sample application
server that I also got to work

My question is the following, it is possible to test the various LDM
translations without redoing the entire client image in a different locale (as
I've seen others do in the archives).

My long term goal would be to get around the

  No response from server, restarting...

message that will confuse users. I was thinking a separate LDM translation
might do the trick, but I faild to figure out to even test the ldm translations
provided with the ltsp-server package.

So a more concrete question could be, how could one test the German or Danish
translation for LDM without creating a German or Danish locale image?

from the Cluster Control I've tried setting

LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
LDM_LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8

none of these make any changes to the client.

Any suggestions?
