Where have you looked in nautilus or thunar? They should show up in
/media/USERNAME/DEVICENAME.

Are there entries in /var/run/ltspfs_fstab?

Do other devices, such as USB sticks work?

Is ltspfsd running on the thin client?

What filesystem is on the DVDs you're trying to access?
