Just to make that clear for me:
Using current LTSP with fat clients would need some power for the HDDs
on the server, some work for delivering images over the network, but it
would not need a full-blown server having a bunch of CPUs plus a lot of
RAM to do massive calculatory work.
So basically any standard PC with couple of HDDs, maybe SSDs would do
the job well, as the clients will mostly work for themselves.
Is that right? Any other ideas, maybe additional RAM or something? What
is your experience?
