Hello All,

Can someone explain what I'm missing in editing the kernel-update.conf file
to slightly change the default CMDLINE_ . I simply edited this line by
deleting the 'quiet' entry and put 'nomodeset' in it's place. It looks like
the following:

# Default commandline arguments common to all boot methods
CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="init=/sbin/init-ltsp nomodeset"

When the ltsp-update-kernels & ltsp-update-image is run the default
'quiet' entry is in the boot parameters,,,not the edited 'nomodeset'.

I'm sure i am missing the obvious,,,,someplace.

Thank You
