I forgot to mention that my target is ARM 926 (DaVinci). I found old
versions of the compatibility list that showed 2.6.12 as first LTTng
version. Is this only for i386 or will it work for ARM? I don't see
ARM mentioned in the compatibility list until version 2.6.16 and
2.6.20 but it isn't clear if that is when ARM support started.

Looking at the 2.6.12-lttng patch files ... I see portions that deal
with ARM which makes me think it is supported?

Example:

patch-2.6.12-rc4-mm2-lttng-0.4.3-instrumentation.diff
  1 12:--- a/arch/arm/kernel/entry-common.S
(.../trunk/kernel/linux-2.6.12-rc4-mm2) (revision
52)
  2 12:+++ b/arch/arm/kernel/entry-common.S
(.../branches/mathieu/linux-2.6.12-rc4-mm2) (revision
52)
  42 13:Index: arch/arm/kernel/sys_arm.c
  42 28:Index: arch/arm/kernel/sys_arm.c
.
.
.

Looks like my MVista 2.6.10 has Yuri's older LTT patch.

Regards,

Brian
