I think the problem is in this line;
    ["pl.platf.luajava"] = "lua/pl/platf/luajava"
Where the '.lua' extension on the right hand side is missing.

But what surprises me is the message;
   mingw32-gcc: fatal error: no input files

and then LR happily continues and ends with
   penlight 1.1.0-2 is now built and installed in c:\users\public\lua\5.1/ 
(license: MIT/X11)
